Master Sergeant Justin Twilley

Aerospace Science Instructor (ASI)

Master Sergeant (MSgt) Justin Twilley was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He joined the Air Force three weeks after high school graduation and spent 20 years serving. During his enlistment, he spent his first four years as an Airborne Battle Management Specialist aboard the E-3 AWACS where he was stationed at Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan. After becoming a squadron and aircraft Instructor, he joined the Air Force Special Operations Command, where he flew combat operations in multiple deployed locations for the next 6 years. He swiftly became an aircraft instructor once more and would move on to join a NATO squadron where he was charged with managing international deployments for 27 host nations . After 2 years with NATO, MSgt Twilley returned to Special Operations for another 4 years before finally landing in Presidential Airlift, outside of Washington D.C. He would go on to retire from the D.C. area in July of 2025, finishing his 20 years of service.

MSgt Twilley is married and has four wonderful animals in his home. He is very passionate about building the AFJROTC program and teaching others to thrive and find ways to exceed their capabilities. During his free time, he loves to work with wood, play games, and read.
